PhD candidate Maria Sofia Kristina Brännvall will defend the thesis The Presence of Place. A phenomenological interview study in a rural school for the PhD degree.

Brännvall has followed the PhD programme in Humanities and Education with spesialisation in education.

PhD candidate Fengya Zhu will defend the thesis "Essays on Post-adoption Behavior in Digital Consumer Lending”. Fengya has followed the PhD. programme at the School of Business and Law.

Touseef Sadiq will defend his PhD thesis "Engineering Multimodal Retrieval Systems for Urban Traffic Scenes: Architectures, Fusion, and Performance Trade-offs".

PhD candidate Anne Berit Maurset Varen will defend the thesis Memory of War: Phototextual Mediations of the Second World War in Children's Postmemory Literature for the PhD degree. Varen has followed the PhD programme in Humanities and Education with specialization in literature.

PhD candidate Daicy Vaz will defend the thesis «Unbundling the Complexities, Duality and Intertwining of Strategic and Sustainable AI in Organizations» 

Daicy has completed the PhD programme at the School of Business and Law, University of Agder, and is also a doctoral candidate at NEOMA Business School. The thesis has been completed under a cotutelle agreement, and the doctoral defence is conducted jointly for the two institutions.

Fedor Svetlanov Konomaev will defend his PhD thesis "Spin-Wave Phenomena in Non-Collinear Antiferromagnets".

Minh Tuan Hua will defend his PhD thesis: "Modelling and Control of Robotic Manipulators with Mixed Rigid-Elastic Joints".

Siavash Mollaebrahim Ghari will defend his PhD thesis: "Decentralized Data Processing via Graph Signal Processing".

PhD candidate Terje Berntsen will defend the thesis "Managing Sustainable Transformation through Business Model Diversification". Terje has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law, UiA. 

PhD candidate Sofiia Rzhevuska will defend the thesis Building Ukraine in the Cold War in Europe and the U.S.: Displaced Persons Camps and Diasporic Communities for the PhD degree. Rzhevuska has followed the PhD programme in Humanities and Education with spesialisation in religion, philosophy og history.

PhD candidate Monika Øgård will defend the thesis Navigating boundaries in vocational education: A qualitative study of thematic assignments supporting meaning-making in school and workplace learning for the PhD degree. Øgård has followed the PhD programme in Humanities and Education with spesialisation in pedagogy.

Nguyen Hoang Nam Du will defend his PhD thesis: "Domain Knowledge – Informed Low-Severity Fault Diagnosis for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines".

Aji Prasetya Wahyu Utama will defend the thesis Displacing Poverty or Displacing Capital? An Investigation into the Role of Credit Unions in Socio-economic Development among Palm Oil Farmers in West Kalimantan. Aji has followed the Ph.D. programme in Social Sciences with a specialisation in Global Development and Planning.

Mahboubeh Nedaei will defend the thesis "Exploring the role of representations in undergraduate engineering students’ engagement with the double integrals: A case study of using eye-tracking in mathematics learning research" for the PhD degree.

PhD candidate Håvard Haugland Bamle will defend the thesis “… and I never really knew what to do”. Environmental Song Lyrics in a Time of Ecological Crisis for the PhD degree. Bamle has followed the PhD programme in Humanities and Education with spesialisation in literature.

PhD candidate Maria Tønnessen will defend the thesis “Conditions for Green Regional Industrial Restructuring: Assets and Agency in a Refined Regional Innovation System Approach”. Maria has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law, UiA.

Stian Borg-Stoveland will defend the thesis "Marine Microalgae Cultivation for Effluent Treatment and Nutrient Recovery in Modular Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (M-RAS). Linking Microalgal Growth, Nutrient Recovery, and Bacterial Community Dynamics" for the PhD degree.

Abhishek Kumar will defend his PhD thesis: "Enabling Uplink Medium Access and Transmission in IoT Networks using Rate-Splitting, Clustered MIMO-NOMA, Markov Modeling, and Reinforcement Learning".

Meseret Assefa Adamu will defend the thesis "Temporal Dynamics of Cybersecurity Culture Amid Rapid Digital Transformation". Meseret has followed the PhD programme in Social Sciences with a specialisation in Informations Systems.
