Health, upbringing, education and living conditions

Societal challenges cross borders, and a changing world demands innovation. UiA is committed to interdisciplinary efforts to find sustainable solutions.

About the area:

Within the field of health, upbringing, education and living conditions, we examine how these factors affect people's lives throughout all stages of life. At UiA, we work purposefully with research and education that promotes good health, secure upbringing conditions, quality education and good living conditions for all.

We emphasise research-based knowledge as the foundation for developing robust welfare solutions in collaboration with public and private partners. Our aim is to contribute to better public health and enhanced quality of life in society – from childhood through to old age.
