Notify the bookshop SIA (mia.krumm@sia.no, before May 15 / (spring course) Nov. 15) of books that should be on sale for the students! The bookshop informs the library which books have been finalized, and the library adds/corrects these in reading list, Leganto. You can add more book titles afterwards, but do not change what has already been agreed.
Add book chapters, journal articles, and other sources in Leganto (Readfing list system), and click «Library review» to send it, and Publish the list when finished
If needed, start with turning on reading lists (Pensumliste) in navigation options
Click Pensumliste (reading list) from the course’s options in Canvas.
If no reading list has been created, choose Create it. The title will be the same as the course
Choose Template, English or Norwegian.
Course lecturers that are connected to the course in FS will appear in the list. Contact the library if a lecturer is not on the list. Add any other lecturer as co-worker in the list. Choose Co-workers – administrate co-workers and add lecturer as co-worker.
Add Sources, click +. Preferably via library search which can Search through books, articles - or choose to add manually: Create
Click SEND and also PUBLISH the list when the compulsory book sources in the list are complete! (the command for Publish the list see the ... menu on top of the list to the right, then choose Publish (the list is sent to the library and information about the book is send to the book store)
You can continue to edit the list, click SEND if new sources are created in the list
BOLK
Articles and chapter excerpts from books must still be approved via BOLK before uploading to CANVAS for the students.
The reading list for the relevant course in CANVAS can be seen by the students that are connected to the course. In addition, the reading list will be publicly available in the course description in the course catalogue after it has been published in Leganto. It will also be publicly available directly in the reading list tool in Leganto.
