The Faculty of Social Sciences is a diverse faculty encompassing various disciplines, from social science subjects and professional studies to information studies.
The faculty consists of the Department of Global Development and Planning, the Department of Information Systems, the Department of Sociology and Social Work, and the Department of Political Science and Management.
Here we study human interaction, social systems, and society. We focus on processes, stability, and change in communication, organisation, and governance, and we study the interplay between humans and technology.
Within the faculty, you will also find the Centre for Gender and Equality.
