PhD candidate Fengya Zhu will defend the thesis "Essays on Post-adoption Behavior in Digital Consumer Lending”. Fengya has followed the PhD. programme at the School of Business and Law.

PhD candidate Daicy Vaz will defend the thesis «Unbundling the Complexities, Duality and Intertwining of Strategic and Sustainable AI in Organizations» 

Daicy has completed the PhD programme at the School of Business and Law, University of Agder, and is also a doctoral candidate at NEOMA Business School. The thesis has been completed under a cotutelle agreement, and the doctoral defence is conducted jointly for the two institutions.

PhD candidate Terje Berntsen will defend the thesis "Managing Sustainable Transformation through Business Model Diversification". Terje has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law, UiA. 

PhD candidate Maria Tønnessen will defend the thesis “Conditions for Green Regional Industrial Restructuring: Assets and Agency in a Refined Regional Innovation System Approach”. Maria has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law, UiA. 

PhD candidate Cecilie Andersen will defend the thesis "Word of mouth behavior in tourism and hospitality context". Cecilie has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law, UiA. The defense will be conducted in Norwegian.

PhD candidate Naya Hapsari will defend the thesis “Talent Management in SMEs and New Ventures: The Role of Leadership and Networks”. Naya has followed the PhD. programme at the School of Business and Law.

PhD candidate Simona Grande will defend the thesis “Both/And Entrepreneurial Ecosystems: Illuminating Underexplored Mechanisms and Contexts through a Paradox Theory Lens”. Simona has followed both the PhD. programme at the School of Business and Law, and PhD programme at University of Torino under a joint cotutelle agreement.

PhD candidate Jim Toft will defend the thesis "Leading Through the Language of Expectations: A Multi-Study of Pygmalion Language in Business Settings". Jim has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law, UiA.

PhD candidate Roger Aganze Cibangala will defend the thesis "Essays on Savings Groups". Roger has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law, UiA.

PhD candidate Marius Trandheim Kristiansen will defend the thesis "Exploring Adoption of Digital Servitization". Marius has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law, UiA.

PhD candidate Magnus Ivar Aagard Skeie  will defend his thesis "Understanding Choice Architecture Impacts on Stated Environmental Preferences from a Psychological Perspective: An Application to Coastal Zone Management". Magnus has followed the PhD programme at the School of Business and Law, University of Agder.

PhD candidate Maryam Hina at the School of Business and Law will defend her dissertation “Blockchain for sustainability: A multilevel perspective connecting consumers and organisations”.

Maryam has followed the PhD programme at the School of Business and Law, University of Agder (UiA), and the PhD programme at LUT University in Finland, as part of a cotutelle agreement.

PhD candidate Armande Nabami Mahabi will defend the thesis "The Role of Facilitators in Savings Groups: An Empirical Analysis of Human Factors and Group Performance". Armande has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law, UiA.

PhD candidate Riccardo Losa will defend the thesis "Circular economy practices in the battery sector: Assessing EU policies, motivations and digital tools".

Riccardo is a cotutelle candidate, and has followed both the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law, UiA and the PhD programme at Solvay Business School.

PhD candidate Richard Sebaggala will defend the thesis "Essays on Econometric Analysis of Disability-Inclusive Savings Groups". Richard has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law.

PhD candidate Benjamin Akatabanuse will defend the thesis "Financial Inclusion for People With Disabilities: The Role of Savings Groups". Benjamin has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law.

PhD candidate Avaz Mammadov will defend the thesis “The Interplay of Individual Competencies in SME Internationalization”. Avaz has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law, specialization in International Business

PhD candidate Daniël van Hemert will defend the thesis  "Contextual performance of informal financial associations". Daniël is cotutelle candidate, and has followed both the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law and the Ph.D. programme in Economics and Business at KU Leuven

PhD candidate Sophie Altrock will defend the thesis “From Automation to Augmentation: Exploring Digital Self-Service and the Role of Workers in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Industry 5.0”. Sophie has followed both the PhD. programme at the School of Business and Law, and PhD programme at RMIT university under a joint cotutelle agreement. Her PhD project has been funded through the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie EINST4INE project, grant agreement No 956745.

PhD candidate Henrik Siepelmeyer will defend the thesis “It’s a jungle out there: Social norms, waste, and the complex challenge of fostering sustainable household behaviors in multi-family dwellings”. Henrik has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law.

PhD candidate Hildegunn Aslaksen will defend the thesis "The jobs-environment dilemma: Fights over work and nature in an Arctic community". Hildegunn has followed the Ph.D. programme at the School of Business and Law.
