Externally funded research projects at Engineering and Science
If you are considering applying for external research funding, it is important to start early. Involve the contact person at the departement early in the process, to get as much support as possible
Application for external funding
8 weeks before deadline
- Send onepager for approval via Service Now
- If you receive approval from the department head to proceed with the application, the research advisor can organize a meeting to plan the further work on the application.
At least 4 weeks before the deadline
- Create the application in the portal and share the application with the research advisor.
- Schedule a meeting with the controller at your department
At least 2 weeks before deadline
- Budget approved by the department head
- Review of the application
- Support services: language check, legal
At least 1 week before deadline
- Head of department approves application and budget
