Appeals handling
- Appeals against individual decisions should be sent to the faculty or division that made the decision
- The faculty/division will reconsider the decision in light of the appeal
Example of a letter to the student:

- If the decision is upheld, the appeal will be forwarded to the case officer for UIA's Appeals Committee
- The appeal will be considered by UIA's Appeals Committee
- A copy of the committee's decision is sent to the faculty/division that made the appealed decision
- If the student's appeal is upheld, follow-up is handled by the faculty/division
- The committee's decisions on appeals cannot be further appealed
