University pedagogy at UiA conducts research on university education and teaching in general and in relation to the university's various fields of study. It offers foundational courses in university pedagogy in line with the Universities Norway (UHR) guidelines and the Universities and University Colleges Act.
The teaching is research-based, and teaching and research support each other. The staff providing pedagogical knowledge are employed at the university's faculties. The goal of the University Pedagogy is to develop an innovative, national and international collaborative academic environment within university pedagogy over the coming years.
