Within seven weeks: Dialogue meeting no.1

The employer will call for dialogue meeting number 1, which must take place no later than 7 weeks after the employee became sick-listed.

When the employee is 100% sick-listed, the parties must meet unless it is clearly unnecessary. If the employee is partially absent from work, the meeting will take place when it is appropriate.

Who should participate?

The dialogue meeting is primarily an arena for the employee and the employer. The employee is obligated to attend.

The doctor who issued the sick note will be invited when the employer and employee agree that it is appropriate, or if the employee requests it.

Other parties, such as the safety representative, a representative from the occupational health service, or NAV, can attend the meeting if the employer or employee wishes.

As an employee, you have the right to object to the participation of healthcare personnel.
