The term practice in the quality system encompasses both curriculum-regulated and non-curriculum-regulated practice (work placements) at UiA.
Practice is defined as follows:
Planned training at a practice site where the student acquires practical skills under the guidance of a person with relevant education and professional experience.
Quality work related to practice includes:
- Quality assurance of practice sites and UiA's facilitation of practice
- Student evaluation of practice
Guidelines and recommended procedures for the quality assurance and academic implementation of practice at UiA have been established.
The education department has also developed a description of various digital solutions for placing students in practice.
