Compulsory assignments

This page provides information about the compulsory assignment requirements for accessing exams, including deadlines, approval procedures, and guidelines for group assignments.

In order to access the exam, students must meet the compulsory assignments outlined in the course description. The exam requirements are recorded in Fagpersonweb no later than two weeks before the first partial exam. If the results are not recorded within the deadline, all students will automatically be approved.

Students who have not met the exam requirements receive an email from the exam office stating they do not have access to the exam and will be withdrawn from it. Students who have previously met the requirement will be approved if we do not hear otherwise.

In portfolio assessment, it is important to have a clear distinction between the parts included in the portfolio and the parts that constitute exam requirements. This way, there is an opportunity to withdraw students who do not meet the requirements before they receive the final assessment of the portfolio.

For compulsory assignments conducted in groups, the same rules apply as for group exams:

  • all participants should contribute to a common product
  • if there is doubt about whether all group members contribute sufficiently, written statements must be obtained from all
  • in special cases, the faculty may decide that a student should conduct the group exam alone
