Trailer for loan

UiA has the following trailers available:

• Small trailer, total weight 430 kg, empty weight 130 kg
• Large trailer, total weight 1995 kg, empty weight 370 kg

How to borrow a trailer

1. Go to your calendar and create an "appointment."
2. Add the location "offline global addresses."
3. Search for the trailer ("Small trailer" or "Large trailer").
4. When reserving the trailer, you must enter your name and mobile number.
5. You can only borrow one trailer at a time.
6. Remember to read the loan rules and the booking confirmation.

Who can borrow?

All employees, PhD students, and retirees.

Location

At the far end of the staff parking lot at the Grimstad Campus.

Pick-up and return

• The vehicle registration document (vognkort) and keys are to be picked up and returned at UiA Hjelp.
• Return the trailer by 12:00 PM on the day of return.

Small trailer

• Total weight: 430 kg

• Minimum driver's license requirement: class BE

Rules for borrowing a trailer

• The trailer can be borrowed for up to two working days.
• Each employee can only book one trailer at a time.
• For weekend rentals, you cannot reserve the trailer for Monday, only Sunday. The key and vehicle registration document (vognkort) must be returned on Monday morning.
• You are required to have a trailer license and a vehicle that is large enough to tow the trailer. Check if your car can tow the load on the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's website, or download the "Bil og henger" app for iPhone or Android.
