As an employee at UiA, another employee’s tasks may be imposed on you for a limited period.
If the tasks of a higher-paid position are imposed on an employee and that employee takes on the full responsibility and function of the position, that employee must receive the salary of the higher paid position.
If the employee does not have the necessary qualifications for the position and so cannot assume the position’s full responsibility and function, a partial deputy allowance may be paid out. Guidelines for calculating allowance (doc) is set after discussions between employer and the representatives.
Deputy allowance is not paid out for periods shorter than a week (5-6 work days).
