Days off for employees aged 60 and over (senior days)

Employees who turn 60 during the holiday year are entitled to one extra week of holiday.

To encourage senior employees to remain in the workforce longer, employees are entitled to 8 additional paid days off in the calendar year they turn 62.

Part-time employees are entitled to a proportional number of additional days off.

These days can be taken as whole days or as reduced working hours, by agreement with the employer.

It is not possible to carry over unused days, nor can they be converted into monetary compensation. Any unused days will therefore be forfeited.
