Leave for religious holidays

If you are not a member of the Church of Norway, you are entitled to up to two days off per calendar year in connection with religious holidays of your faith. National public holidays are not included.

UiA may require you to make up for these days, with the timing of this agreed upon in advance. Such make-up work is not considered overtime, even if it causes the legal limit for regular working hours per day or week to be exceeded.

You must notify your immediate supervisor at least 14 days before the holiday if you wish to exercise this right.
