The stay is part of the course French literature and culture 2, which is given in the second term. The prescribed texts for the one-year programme comprises literature and language resources from all over the French-speaking world. A lot of the teaching is in French. Researchers from foreign institutions frequently visit the university and give guest lectures. The one-year programme usually has exchange students from French-speaking countries who partake in one or more subjects.
Occupational profiles of graduates and access to further studies
The one-year programme in French can be part of a study course leading to teaching certification and employment opportunities in the Norwegian school system. Please note upcoming changes (2019) in course and program requirements for acceptance to PPU-A teacher training in general subjects (PPU-A) at the University of Agder.
