Teaching accommodations

Accommodations in teaching are designed to enable you to participate and learn on an equal basis with other students, without reducing the academic requirements.

If you require teaching accommodations, please submit an application using the online application form and select “adapting in teaching” Your application will be processed by your faculty.

You use the same application form whether you are applying for one or multiple types of accommodations (teaching, learning materials, or physical accessibility).

Examples of teaching accommodations:

  • Adaptation of teaching methods or learning activities where possible, for example working in smaller groups or having the option for extra breaks
  • Alternative ways of completing mandatory activities
  • Streaming or digital participation where this is academically and practically feasible

If you have questions or would like guidance before applying, you can contact your student adviser.
