Open exam under supervision

More information will be provided.

Handwritten material

For digital exams, it will be possible to submit handwritten material as part of or the entire submission.

The exam will be conducted as usual, but students may also receive separate sheets of paper for drawing, writing, or calculations. Remember to bring a blue or black pen.

In WISEflow, a unique code will be provided. This code must be written on the sheet(s). The material will then be scanned after the exam and integrated into your submission

Computer requirements

Your computer must be a Windows PC or Mac and must use an operating system version that meets UiA’s general requirements for student computers.

You must bring your own laptop to the exam, with all updates installed before exam day. Tablets such as iPads are not permitted.

Install new versions of web browsers as they become available.

Do not use a work computer, as it may not function on the wireless network. Use your private computer or borrow one if necessary.

Borrowing a computer

All students are expected to have their own laptop for exams. In special cases where an urgent problem occurs, you may apply to borrow a laptop from UiA.

The application should be submitted no later than two days before the exam.

You must collect the computer at UiA Help on the morning of your exam. The computer will be prepared with the necessary software, but you must familiarise yourself with digital exams before exam day.

In your application, it is important to include the reason for requesting a loan computer, student number, full name, and course code(s).
