A five-week stay in Caen in January/February is included in the course. Among other things, an introduction to French geography and social studies will be given. During their stay, the students interview at least two people in French and write a thesis in French based on the interviews. The stay ends with a written assignment and an oral exam. If you have been granted an exemption from your stay, you must also write a special thesis.
