Researchers Grand Prix is an intensive course in science communication, while also being a competition and a show. Here are last year's winners from Agder: Johanna Bjånes Marcussen (1) and Geir Christian Johannessen (2) came out on top in this year's Researcher Grand Prix final in Agder, presenting their research on lobster fishing and recreational fishers, and NRK's TV news for children. About the competition / show

Over the course of three hours (with a break), the audience meets nine researchers from UiA who go on stage and present their research project in four minutes.

When time is up, the audience gives their scores from 1 to 6.

Then the panel of judges takes over. The participant receives direct but constructive feedback from a panel of judges consisting of a representative from academia, performing arts, and media, respectively. After each giving their reasoning, they also give scores from 1 to 6.

Three participants then advance to the final, where they get a new four minutes to elaborate on their research, before the winner is finally announced.

The two best from the finale advance to the national final on September 24 in Oslo.

The finale will be streamed, so you can also vote from home. Live streaming starts at 19:00:

Researchers Grand Prix Agder is part of Forskningsdagene (Norwegian Research Days).
