This event will bring together leading experts, researchers, and students to discuss cutting-edge developments in renewable energy technologies and sustainability.
The Academic Esports Seminar 2026 will be held at the University of Agder's Campus Grimstad from 11 to 13 May 2026. In combination with the Norwegian Esports Summit, the Academic Esports Seminar forms a crucial bridge between theory and practice in the esports ecosystem, offering a unique platform for knowledge exchange among academics, industry professionals and aspiring esports talent.
This year seminar will in addition to His Royal Highness Prince Omar bin Faisal of Jordan host leaders from high ground technology companies in Japan, keynotes from all over the world and not the least Gen.G (world biggest e-sports club).
Prior to the Academic Esport Seminar, the Norwegian Esports Summit 2026 will take place from 7 to 8 May 2026. This strategic national gathering is dedicated to developing Norway’s coordinated esports strategy, with a strong emphasis on educational integration, sustainable player welfare, grassroots development, and digital innovation. Hosted at the University of Agder’s Campus Grimstad, this workshop provides a national arena to consolidate experiences, strengthen collaboration, and translate practical knowledge into shared tools and frameworks that can be used across contexts.
