Centre for Care Research
The Centre for Care Research, South is one of a total of five regional centres. The centre was established by the Ministry of Health and Care Services in 2008 on the basis of St.meld nr. 25 (2005–2006), and our overall mandate is to collect, produce and disseminate knowledge about care and care work in Region South. The centre was established as a collaboration between the University of Agder and the University of South-Eastern Norway, and we are in close contact with the development centres for nursing homes and home care services in the region (USHT).
