Forskning
My field of research is biodiversity and the drivers that affect it. I have a strong interest in characterizing the role of intraspecific variation, as well as in past and contemporary evolutionary processes. Through my scientific career I have worked with a broad range of wild and domesticated species.
My background is from statistical genomics, quantitative genetics, bioinformatics and molecular biology. I did my master's at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and my PhD at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. I have been an associate professor at University of Agder since 2025.
