Bakgrunn og erfaring
Kristine M. Jensen de López er professor i utviklingspsykologi. Hun har sin cand.psych.- og ph.d.-grad i utviklingspsykologi fra Psykologisk Institut ved Aarhus Universitet i Danmark.

Forskning, undervisning og administrasjon ved universitetet.
Undervisning
Hun har undervist og veiledet på cand.psych.-utdanningen i mer enn 25 år innen en lang rekke av psykologiens grunndisipliner og metoder.
Nåværende undervisningsområder er utviklingspsykologi (modulansvarlig), psykologisk testing av barn og unge, videregående anvendt psykologi på masterprogrammet med fokus på barn, unge og deres familier, samt veiledning på master- og ph.d.-nivå.
For 15 år siden startet hun en barneklinikk som fungerer som internt praksissted for psykologistudenter, hvor hun er daglig medleder og veileder. Hun underviser også på ph.d.-kurs, primært innen kvalitativ metode.
Forskning
Forskningen hennes omfatter språk, kognisjon og kultur, samt koblingen til lek, personlige fortellinger og emosjonsforståelse i barndommen. Hun forsker også på utfordringer hos foreldre til barn som ikke har det bra.
Jensen de López er stifter av forskningsgruppen Center for Applied Developmental Science (CeDAPS) ved Aalborg Universitet. Hun har vært dansk Management Committee-medlem i fire EU COST-aksjoner, prosjektleder (PI) for NASUD-prosjektet finansiert av Danmarks Forskningsråd, og co-PI for Eurocores-prosjektet «Cognition, Culture and Typology in Language Acquisition and Evolution: Zapotec» under OMLL – Origins of Man, Language and Languages.
