Why should we focus on universal design?

Usability and inclusion: Universal design improves usability for all users, but it also ensures that everyone, regardless of their abilities or needs, can access and use the learning material. This creates a more inclusive learning environment.

Legislation: Norway has laws and regulations that require digital learning platforms to be universally designed.

Efficiency: By including universal design from the beginning when creating digital content, you can save time and resources in the long run. It is often more time-consuming to make changes after the content is published.
