Admission for the autumn semester

• 1 February: Admission for the new academic year opens for nominations and applications.
• 15 March: Deadline for faculties to update the courses to be offered to international students.
• 20 April: Nomination deadline for partners.
• 1 May: Application deadline for students.
• 20 May: Deadline for faculties for case processing/academic approval.
• 1 June: Admission letters and welcome information are sent to students.
• 5 June: Digital pre-arrival meeting with students.
• 15 June: Deadline to apply for accommodation through SiA.
• 30 June: Transcript of records sent to students for the current semester.

Admission for Spring semester

• 1 February: Admission for the new academic year opens for nominations and applications.
• 5 October: Nomination deadline for partners.
• 15 October: Application deadline for students.
• 1 November: Deadline for faculties for case processing/academic approval.
• 10 November: Admission letters and welcome information are sent to students.
• 15 November: Digital pre-arrival meeting with students.
• 8 December: Deadline to apply for accommodation through SiA.
• 31 January: Transcript of records sent to students for the current semester.

Student reception in the Autumn

• Thursday before the semester start: Arrival Day.
• Friday before the semester start: Orientation Day.
• Saturday before the semester start: Reception at the Kristiansand/Grimstad City Hall.
• First week of the semester: Information meetings with faculties.
• First week of the semester: Issuance of Kroner cards for project students.
• First week of the semester: IT/Canvas course.
• First week of the semester: Academic writing and plagiarism course.
• August/September: Appointments with the police.
• August/September: Tuberculosis screening for applicable students.
