UiA's researchers have the opportunity to use an apartment for free at the Xristos Research Centre, Lesbos. All other expenses must be covered by the individual's available funds.

Secondarily, it is open for development projects (for example, allowing administrative staff to use a share of the time for investigations requiring focused work) or a connection to Metochi (for instance, for lecturers or others involved in activities there).

About Xristos Research Centre

Xristos Research Centre consists of 84 shareholders, most of whom have a connection to UiA. Each of the 84 shareholders is allocated 2 weeks, and these weeks vary from year to year.

Individuals who wish to visit Xristos but do not own a share must contact the shareholders directly.
