Colleague soup

Do you have a colleague who might not know that many people here in Southern Norway? You can invite that colleague (and their family) home to you and your family. Free soup can be collected from the cafeteria. It is also possible for several colleagues to create a group and invite someone together.

How to do it:

  • Send a mail to heidi.foyn@uia.no where you state whom you want to invite (and any family). Remember to state full names, we need it for documentation to the Division of Financial Services.
  • You will get the go-ahead from Heidi
  • Go to the kiosk on campus and tell them to give you X amount of soup portions with rolls. The kiosk will write down your name.

This way, you can contribute to UiA being an including, welcoming and diverse work place!

This arrangement works both ways: If you are a new employee, you do not have to wait for someone to invite you. Take the initiative and get to know your colleagues by inviting them to have soup with you.

"Ten on top" hiking tours

"Ten on Top" is a well-organized hiking initiative suitable for people of all ages, where the goal is to visit 10 different destinations. Most of these are mountain hikes, but some include beautiful trails in flatter terrain. You’re guaranteed stunning nature experiences while improving your physical fitness.

By registering your hikes on the website or in the Ten on Top app, the aim is to give you extra motivation to explore the many wonderful destinations in Grimstad and Kristiansand.
