From 01.01.2020, UiA has entered into agreements with the optician chains Brilleland for Campus Grimstad and Specsavers for the Campus Kristiansand.
From this date, employees who need computer glasses must use only these providers at the two locations.
How to get your glasses covered
Download the form 'Requisition for Eye Test, Computer Glasses.' Print it out and have it signed by your manager.
- For campus Kristiansand: Requisition form for eye test and computer glasses at Specsavers (in Norwegian)
- For campus Grimstad: Requisition form for eye test and computer glasses at Brilleland (in Norwegian)
Book an appointment at the store that suits you best. Note that you can no longer go to Brilleland at Sørlandssenteret, as we have an agreement with Specsavers there.
Bring the form to the optician to have the expenses covered.
You will not pay for the eye examination or any computer glasses if:
- the form is completed
- the frame or lenses are not more expensive than what is covered in the agreement

Appointments for Brilleland can be made in one of three ways:
- Online booking (in Norwegian). Here you can easily choose the Grimstad or Arendal store, select an optician, and book an appointment.
- Direct contact with the desired store via telephone or in person.
- Booking via Brilleland's customer service between 9:00-16:00. Tel: 21 99 97 74.
