In the Retirees' Association, we focus on offering varied, enjoyable, and meaningful gatherings and experiences. We also work to advocate for pensioners' rights.
The UiA Retirees' Association consists of two pensioner clubs, one in Grimstad and one in Kristiansand. They have their own boards with programmes for each semester. The clubs collaborate in a main board.
The clubs develop a programme for each semester with meetings and events, and often include trips both locally, nationally, and internationally.
Become a member
If you have retired or are on disability pension from UiA, you can join the Retirees' Association. The membership fee is NOK 100 per calendar year. You will then be added to the email list for club information, and you will receive an access card to the facilities used by the pensioner clubs.

Where to find us
The pensioners have their own spaces on campus where there are good opportunities to meet or work. In Grimstad, members have access to a large room at Jon Lilletuns vei 9 (the main building on Campus), Senior Room A3 121:
In Kristiansand, members have access to two spaces in General Wergeland’s House (“The House on the Prairie”), Universitetsveien 10:
At both locations, there are lunch gatherings and lectures. Both places have workspaces with good digital access. UiA provides financial support to the Retirees' Association.
