Pregnancy

UiA wants pregnant employees to be able to participate in work and studies for as long as possible. Follow-up of the pregnant employee is important, and it may require adjustments to remain in work for as long as possible.

Risk assessment

The manager and employee must together assess whether the nature of the work is such that a risk assessment must be carried out to ensure a safe working environment for the pregnant employee. Factors that may pose a risk during pregnancy and the pregnant employee's own perception must be included in the risk assessment. The risk assessment is carried out in collaboration between the leader and the pregnant employee in a follow-up meeting.
