Employees who have been in the workforce for at least three years and have been employed by the same employer for the past two years are entitled to leave, either full-time or part-time, for up to three years to participate in organised education programmes.
According to the Special agreement on leave and economic terms for further education, courses, etc (in Norwegian), leave may in some cases be granted with full or partial pay.
Leave for exams
Leave in connection with exams/study days is granted in accordance with the provisions of the Special agreement on leave and economic terms for further education, courses, etc (in Norwegian).
Among other things, one exam/study day is granted for every two study points. You must agree with your manager in advance when the days will be taken.
You apply for the leave in DFØ, using the leave type "Exam/Study days/Education."
