About the partner institution
The Acadmey of Music and Drama (HSM) offers programmes in music at all levels and genres, including specific programs for opera, musical, performance and theatre. Several students from UiA, both in classical and popular music, have participated in exchange programs in Gothenburg.

Requirements
You must be enrolled on a study programme at UiA and have completed a minimum of 60 credits before you go on exchange. In the description of your study programme you will find more information about other possible requirements for applying for an exchange.
As a performing music student, you must attach recordings / have an entrance exam as part of the application.
The Academy of Music and Drama evaluates applications and wuditions, and offers admission based on these factors.
Credits and courses
HSM offers a wide range of study programs and courses. As an exchange student, you should initially be able to apply for admission to all courses. Ensure that the courses meet the requirements for specialisation in the main instrument.

- September - December
- January - June
The autumn semester lasts until the end of January on some study programs.
Tuition fees and scholarships
No tuition fees.
UiA has an Erasmus+ agreement with this institution. Students do not pay any tuition fees, but will in some cases need to pay a minor study fee at the host institution. Students on exchange at an Erasmus+ partner instiution may apply for a grant via the Erasmus+ programme.
Accommodation
As an Erasmus+ student, you apply for hpousing through the University of Gothenburg, HSM.
