About the partner institution
VSMU offers studies at both bachelor's, master's and PhD level.
Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia with around half a million inhabitants. The city lies in the farthest west of the country, right on the border with Austria, and is characterised by being a cultural melting pot between several ethnic groups. Bratislava is a good starting point for both nature experiences and more urban leisure pursuits.
VSMU encourage students to gain international experience through exchange.

Requirements
You must be enrolled on a study programme at UiA and have completed a minimum of 60 credits before you go on exchange. In the description of your study programme you will find more information about other possible requirements for applying for an exchange.
Credits and courses
Students from UiA must take 30 ECTS per semester.

Tuition fees and scholarships
There are no tuition fees.
UiA is free to nominate qualified candidates, but it is VSMU that chooses how many students they can accept. The number of seats can thus vary from year to year.
Accommodation
The Academy of Performing Arts (VSMU) does not have its own student housing. Students can contact VSMU directly for information on housing.
