The campus is located in the northern part of Chicago and here you will have the opportunity to experience the big city which offers the most in sports, food, culture and art.

Requirements
You must be enrolled on a study programme at UiA and have completed a minimum of 60 credits before you go on exchange. In the description of your study programme you will find more information about other possible requirements for applying for an exchange.

North Park University guarantees student housing and all exchange students must live there.
Food and accommodation are approximately NOK 50,000 per semester.
Additional information
Insurance / health in the US:
Most students going on exchange to an American university must purchase American health insurance, as recommended by the individual host university. This is in addition to the insurance you have taken out in Norway / your home country. The insurances usually cost around USD 500-600, but can also be more expensive.
Note: North Park University usually exempts international students from buying insurance so this additional cost will not apply to incoming students.
Certain American universities require that international students can document that they have been vaccinated against various diseases, including diseases that are not part of the vaccination program in Norway. We recommend that all students contact the vaccination office for guidance well in advance of departure.
There may be additional fees ('fees') at the host university. These cover e.g. fitness center, bus, and other services and as a student at North Park University you have to pay a "fee" of $255. This gives you a Chicago U-pass, which includes gives you unlimited access to public transportation (subway and bus) in Chicago.
