Tuition fees and scholarships

UiA has two free places per year. This means that students do not pay tuition fees but have to cover expenses for books, telephone and other expenses yourself.

Accommodation

International students live in The Village Apartments. The apartments have four rooms that share a kitchen, living room and bathroom. The housing complex also has a basketball court and an outdoor swimming pool. Most people live in single rooms, but it is also possible to share a room with another student, which is cheaper.

Additional information

Most students going on exchange to an American university must get an American health insurance, as recommended by the individual host university. This is in addition to the insurance you have taken out in Norway / your home country. This is the case at MSU, where health insurance costs approximately $1,300 per semester.
