  • 2 free spots available for one semester each.

Requirements

You must be enrolled in a study programme at the University of Agder (UiA) and have completed at least 60 credits before applying for an exchange to Korea University. This means that you can go at the earliest in your 4th semester. You must also have an average grade of at least C.

Credits and courses

Korea University offers courses in a wide range of subjects. See the course catalogue here
Note: When you open the link, you need to remove "index2.jsp" and press enter, then select English in the top left corner. Autumn courses are published in July and spring courses in January.

Most courses are worth 3 credits, and students from UiA need to take 15-16 credits to earn 30 study points.

Please note: It may be difficult to secure a spot in certain courses, so be prepared to end up with different courses than you originally selected.

Accommodation

International students can apply for accommodation at the International House. Various options are available, ranging from triple rooms to single rooms. Twin rooms cost approximately 13,000 NOK per semester, and single rooms with a private bathroom are around 16,000 NOK. Housing is not guaranteed, so it is advisable to apply early.
You can find more information about accommodation here

Additional information

The admission requirements at Korea University are very high (only about 5% of applicants are accepted!), and competition for spots in many courses is intense. This means exchange students might face challenges in securing spots in popular courses. Therefore, it's crucial to remain flexible and ensure that you get pre-approval for many more courses than you actually need.
