The thesis is usually written in groups of two students. Students who wish to write their master's thesis individually must apply for this. The students receive guidance specified in a separate supervision contract. Estimated workload is approximately 800 hours.
At the beginning of the last semester and as part of the guidance process students participate in a seminar focusing on the research process and how to communicate findings and results to different audiences.
It is possible to deliver the master's thesis in both spring and autumn semesters. Students who submit their master's thesis in autumn will not be offered a master's thesis seminar, as this is only offered in the spring semester.
