Contents
As with the other practice courses, this course also focusses on playing games and training to become better. However, it is also important to understand how everything is connected and especially how we work when establishing teams and trying to perform on a higher level. This course will focus even more on the full picture of games connected with physical exercise and the danger of injuries.
This course is a continuation of esports 1, 2 and 3 and gives increasingly more insight into the gaming world and how to optimize the experience. Now we focus on the importance of understanding tranferable skills in a wider context and how we can create learning scenarios using esports in a controlled setting. The scores also adds to the programming skills acquired in the previous semesters, with a group design project that marries the theoretical aspects of programming with a physical game design task.
Teaching and learning methods
