Contents
Problem area and subjects are chosen by the students under supervision. The renewable energy group at the University of Agder will offer a portfolio of projects. These projects are defined in collaboration with the private and public sectors. The students can also choose to define their own projects. The project should be selected within the main specialization areas of the study programme. Project subjects from other areas can be chosen only where supervision capacity is available.
As far as possible the project should be designed to be implemented and tested in the industry, for the students to gain insight in the practical industrial application of the theoretical knowledge and the industry needs within the field of study.
Teaching and learning methods
Independent work, with at least 5 compulsory tutorials / supervisions.
At project start, the students shall write a project plan with milestones and dates. The plan must be submitted to the supervisor(s) within a specified deadline. The Bachelor Thesis is normally a spring term course, but might be offered in the autumn term if there is vacant capacity among the supervisors.
