Contents

Video production, audio systems, and logistical coordination constitute fundamental components of contemporary Esports practice. Video technologies play a dual role within the field, functioning both as analytical instruments for performance evaluation and as a medium for content creation and dissemination to audiences. Video content is also central to broadcasting, marketing, and audience engagement within the Esports ecosystem.

Audio technologies are equally critical, facilitating real-time communication between players, coaches, production teams, and spectators. Effective audio systems ensure clear in-game communication, enhance broadcast quality, and contribute to the overall spectator experience. Mastery of audio tools is therefore essential for both competitive performance and professional Esports production.

Logistics underpins the successful planning and execution of Esports events, encompassing scheduling, equipment management, venue setup, and coordination of technical and human resources.

This course provides students with an introduction to the tools, technologies, platforms, and workflows commonly employed in Esports content distribution and event organization. Students will develop practical skills in creating and distributing digital content to promote individual players and teams, as well as gain foundational knowledge of organizing and managing Esports events. In addition, the course offers a basic introduction to the understanding, setup, and maintenance of hardware relevant to gaming and Esports, enabling students to operate effectively within technical Esports environments.
