Contents

The students will carry out practical training in a cultural institution or a company where they will contribute to a project or solve specific tasks. An important part of the course is to acquire competence in project management within the cultural field. The work involves solving tasks that allow the student to use theory and methods they have acquired in the study.

Teaching and learning methods

The course is practical and related to the project or enterprise in question at which the student will have an internship. The student chooses to either have practical training in their own project, in an organization or in a company that the department approves as part of the practical training in the course.

The students themselves send an application to the organization they are interested in working with. More information about routines, procedures and deadlines will be communicated in Canvas at the start of the semester. Some collaborations may be established at the department, this will be presented at the start of the semester.

The students stay at the practice company for approx. 100 hours and are given tasks that are relevant in relation to their professional competence and the needs of the practice company. A high degree of flexibility is planned in terms of working hours, tasks and how you want to organise these.

The expected scope of work for the average student is 27 hours per credit.
