This course focuses on interdisciplinary and interdepartmental cooperation, and highlights the organisation of the services offered to children and adolescents. The course both imparts knowledge about this area and aims at establishing, continuing and strengthening actual cooperative structures in preferred services.

  • General conventions, laws and regulations
  • Legal basis for use of force and use of force in welfare law
  • Individual plan - user-operated services
  • Quality assurance and internal control
  • Health ¿ and social political regulations ¿ governmental reports, strategic plans and guidelines
  • Organisation of communal, regional and national services ¿ a transition from professionally operated to user-operated services
  • Volunteer, self-help and user-operated services
  • Development of complete, coordinated services - overview of services and examples of service orientation
  • Examples of administration of confidentiality clause - a safeguard and a hindrance?
  • Interdisciplinary and interdepartmental cooperation - cooperation and responsibility delegation within and between services on various administrative levels
  • Cooperation knowledge - areas of expertise and responsibility in various professional groups
  • Communication, conflict resolution and mediation traditions

Student evaluation

The person responsible for the course, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1.
