Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will:
- be able to give an account of nursing to patients with acute and / or critical illness
- be able to give an account of nursing to patients with chronic or recurrent, somatic diseases
- be able to give an account of the characteristic features of nursing to children and young people
- have knowledge about preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative nursing
- have knowledge about pain, pain therapy, and the soothing of pain
- have knowledge about nutrition in different diseases
- have carried out current practical procedures
- have knowledge about methods in prevention and health promotion work
- have knowledge about rehabilitation
- be able to reflect upon different methods in e-health, health care technology, and welfare technology
