Contact persons

The project implements and evaluates VAR Healthcare – a knowledge-based decision support tool for nurses – with the aim of strengthening the quality of services, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and supporting healthcare professionals in clinical decisions.

The project is carried out in collaboration between research environments, municipal health and care services and technology partners in Austria, Denmark, Norway and Portugal. Through adaptation, implementation and evaluation of the solution, the project will develop knowledge about how digital tools can be integrated into clinical practice and contribute to sustainable health and care services.

The University of Agder leads the work on stakeholder involvement, change management and implementation. The project places great emphasis on co-creation with healthcare professionals, managers, patients and relatives to ensure that the solution is relevant, user-friendly and adapted to the needs of the field of practice.
