The Economics research group consists of scholars engaged in economic research across a range of specialized areas, aiming to contribute to both academic knowledge and societal understanding. The group members’ research interests include applied economics, nonlinear dynamic systems, environmental valuation, law and economics, as well as economics related to housing, health, labor markets, education, and families. Utilizing advanced econometric methods, mathematical modeling, and theoretical analysis, we examine issues such as healthcare delivery, housing policy, resource management, and the impact of public policy and individual behavior on economic outcomes.
In the short term, our group aims to foster collaboration across various subfields of economics, facilitating the exchange of methods and insights to address pertinent research questions. In the longer term, we aspire to establish ourselves as a recognized hub for rigorous economic research that informs policy-making and contributes to scholarly discourse at both national and international levels.
The research group includes Senter for eiendomsøkonomi.
