Technology, digitalisation and societal preparedness
Societal challenges cross borders, and a changing world demands innovation. UiA is committed to interdisciplinary efforts to find sustainable solutions.
About the area:
Technological development and digitalisation play an important role in societal development, but are also shaped by social changes. At the University of Agder, we see an increasing need for interdisciplinary knowledge to understand this interplay and strengthen society's preparedness.
We bring together academic environments that contribute to technological innovation, digital transformation and societal preparedness. Through close collaboration with industry, business and the public sector, we develop knowledge and solutions that meet both today's challenges and tomorrow's needs. Our goal is to contribute to a digitally competent and resilient society.
