Young Researchers Night: Who do we trust?

Institutions. Humans. Technologies. What does it mean to trust today? And who, or what, do we place our trust in? UiAdoc invites researchers, students, professionals, and the wider public to explore one of the most important and increasingly complex dimensions of contemporary society.

From public institutions to emerging technologies, trust shapes how we interact with organizations, make decisions, and navigate an increasingly uncertain world. But what happens when stakeholders we rely on are institutions, people, or technologies whose functioning and intentions we may not fully understand?

On September 26, UiAdoc, part of UiA, invites researchers, students, professionals, and the wider public to explore one of the most important and increasingly complex dimensions of contemporary society - Trust.

The evening will bring together different perspectives through two panel discussions. The first, Trust in Administrations, will explore how citizens build, maintain, or lose trust in public institutions and administrative systems. The second, Trust in Technologies, will focus on how technological development, artificial intelligence, and digital systems are transforming the ways in which we understand and establish trust.

The event will be an opportunity to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and reflect together from different angles.
