Academic collective effort for refugees
The largest refugee crisis since the Second World War presents a number of societal challenges at global, national and local levels. In 2015, UiA established a task force for refugees and joined other universities and university colleges in an “academic collective effort”. We are working on measures to assist those affected by the war in Ukraine.
As of 2019, this work also includes the journey that students with Norwegian as a second language go through, from qualification and application for admission to the start of studies and onward progression in their studies.
Ukrainian refugees can use the campus
UiA has open campuses accessible to everyone. If you need a place to study with internet access, you can use UiA’s study spaces in the library or in common areas. Read more here: Study Spaces – University of Agder
