Goal
UiA students and staff should have greater opportunities and more space for internal exchange of views at the University. Participation in university elections should increase. The University will safeguard academic freedom of expression.
Measures
- Develop new or existing forums and channels for democratic and responsible exchange of views among students, staff and/or external participants, both digitally and/or physically and actively protect academic freedom of expression

- Support the Student Organisation of Agder (STA) in efforts to increase election participation

- Develop a new communications manual that provides an overview of UiA’s channels for both internal and external audiences and ensure it is accessible across the organisation

- Actively inform UiA staff about upcoming matters for the University Board

- Leverage activities and opportunities to embed UiA’s values throughout the organisation
